Unbelievable. The U.S. mens team defeated top ranked Spain to advance to the Confederations Cup, a World Cup warm up tourney. Does this give one hope for America in next year's World Cup in South Africa, or should we really set our expectations based on a handful of games?
If anything, it proves that upsets can happen in soccer (football). Here's a USA Today story.
However, it's good to see that some things in international soccer are getting back to normal. Thank you Holland for finding yourselves again!
